We are launching #DontFillItIn , encouraging students to reject filling in the National Student Survey (the NSS).
The NSS will be a source of data that will be used to increase tuition fees. The University are currently asking final year students to fill it in, but will not tell them that by filling it in, students will be responsible for more tuition fees and more debt for future students.
This is a national initiative, with 25 other unions (and counting) taking part. So if you are a final year student, don't be pressured by your lecturers or tutors - #DontFillItIn! And if you know someone in final year, tell them - #DontFillItIn! "
By pledging to boycott, the SU will actively encourage all our final year undergraduates to not fill out the NSS.
Filling out the NSS gives vital data to the government which allows them to raise fees for future students. Do not let your voice be used to raise fees.
The Students' Union understands that students still need to have an opportunity to give feedback on their Hope experience and we believe there are sufficient internal mechanisms for this.
