Higher Education Review (HER)

Higher Education Review: Student Submission

Liverpool Hope University will be reviewed by the Quality Assurance Agency in the week commencing 30th November 2015. The aim of the review is to inform students and the wider public whether the University meets the expectations of the higher education sector for:

  • the setting and/or maintenance of academic standards
  • the provision of learning opportunities
  • the provision of information the enhancement of the quality of students' learning opportunities

In addition to the evidence provided by the University to the QAA Review Team, Liverpool Hope students have submitted information to the Review Team about what it's like to be a student at Hope. The HER Student Steering Group worked hard to gather the views and experiences of Hope students to support the Student Written Submission for HER.

In order to inform the Student Written Submission for the Higher Education Review we held an ‘8 Days to Speak’ campaign.

During ‘8 Days to Speak’, a series of different activities were held to try to ensure that as many students as possible were able to contribute their views and opinions using a number of different approaches. An on-line survey was circulated via email to all taught students , students were asked to express their views through window writing and comment cards were distributed. A short film has also been produced of students talking about their Hope experiences.
