Nominate Yourself for Part-Time Student Representative Positions

It’s time to nominate yourself to represent your fellow students!

Student Representatives are volunteers who represent specific groups of students while continuing their studies. If you’re passionate about student issues and want to make a difference, this is your opportunity to campaign on issues that matter to your community, with support from Sabbatical Officers in the SU.

Why Run?

Running as a Student Representative is a great way to:

  • Get more involved with your Union

  • Improve your employability

  • Make a positive impact for students
    These are voluntary, part-time positions you hold alongside your studies. Each role comes with a lead officer and a budget to support your campaigns.

  • Trans and Non-Binary Representative

  • Campus Life Representative

  • Mature/Part-Time Student Representative

How to Nominate Yourself

You can nominate yourself in two ways:

  1. Through the nomination link sent to your student email

  2. Directly via our website nomination page

When nominating, please include:

  • Full name

  • Student ID

  • Position you are nominating yourself for

  • What you hope to achieve if elected (around 250 words)

Important Dates

  • Nominations open: 20th September

  • Nominations close: 17th October

  • Voting opens: 27th October

  • Voting closes: 31st October
