A bit about Lottie:
I My time at Hope was genuinely incredible; academically, socially, and personally, and I’m excited to support students as they begin and continue their own journeys here.University is such an important chapter in people’s lives, and every student deserves to feel supported, heard, and empowered throughout it. I ran for Vice President of Education as I care so much about ensuring students feel confident using their voice and shaping their educational experience.
Student feedback and representation can create meaningful change, and I’m passionate about helping students make the most of every opportunity available to them. Hope is an incredible institution with so much to offer, and I want to help students engage with everything from academic support and personal development opportunities to experiences that prepare them for life beyond university.
I’m looking forward to working alongside students, course reps, and staff to strengthen student voice, enhance the student experience, and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive during their time at Hope.
What are your top 3 Priorities for the start of the academic year?
1. Celebrate student successes by creating a positive social media platform that highlights student-led achievements in education, experience, and campaigns
2. Strengthen student voice by supporting and developing the course rep and student rep systems so students feel heard and represented across the university.
3. Help students grow by sharing information about the many opportunities available at Hope, from academic development to social experiences and future employment support.

My 3 key focus points for this year are:
1.Create an open SU space so we can host a refillable pantry, clothes swap shop, and free hot and cold drinks.

3. Start planning the 2027 Varsity event.
