The President is the lead representative of Liverpool Hope University students. Name:

Eliza Mill

About the role:

This job was an elected position. This meant that I had to put myself forward and create a manifesto surrounding what I would like to achieve on behalf of the students at the university. I was voted in by the student cohort in March 2025 and I officially started the role at the beginning of July 2025. This role encompasses all areas of the union from the sport and society teams, to welfare and education.

What made you run for this position?:

The opportunity to support students through their time at university, so they feel heard and understood.

What will you be focusing on this year?

My focus is to prepare students for life after university, to expand opportunities for social events, and to help students become aware of how to stay safe on and off campus.

What's one fact about you?

I have given a high-five to a Lion.

Finish this sentence: “This year, I want students to know that…”

It’s important to have additional experience on your CV besides your degree.

What’s one thing you wish every student knew about the SU?

We have free tea and coffee for you guys, and we are always interested to hear your feedback and experiences, both good and bad. Please feel free to drop by whenever, as it gives me a break from replying to my emails :)
