This course will introduce you to the book-keeping skills needed to help you manage your business finances and submit a tax return with HMRC.

The sessions will cover:
On completion of the course, you will be able to register your business or as self-employed and feel confident about submitting a tax return and keeping financial records.

You can look at the HMRC Website for more information on tax, National Insurance, business records and expenses. They also have a section on Tax Guidance for Social Enterprises.
The course is free to attend for anyone thinking of registering a business or any eligible* SME's in the Merseyside region.
