Visit to Tate Liverpool

This is an outing to see the free displays at Tate Liverpool, including an exhibit showing the works by the artists shortlisted for this year's Turner Prize.

Other exhibitions we can visit:

  • Journeys through the Tate Collection

  • Candice Breitz: Love Story

  • Democracies

The Tate have produced this visual story to help before and during your visit:

As some of the artworks may feature loud noises, there are ear defenders available from the front desk, or you can bring your own. There are also folding stools, magnifiers and coloured overlays to borrow.

Tate Liverpool has a cafe where we can get lunch: https://www.tate.org.uk/visit/tate-liverpool/cafe

If you prefer to bring your own food and drink, those who don't want to go to the cafe will find somewhere quiet to sit by the waterfront to eat (weather permitting).

Booking is not essential but if you reserve a place via Eventbrite we will know who to look out for.

We have a mobile phone which is turned on during outings in case people need to contact us to say they are running late or can not find the group. If you would like the number, please send us an email to merseysideautisticadults@gmail.com
